I bought your plans about 3 weeks ago and just got around to finishing
my bar. Your plans were excellent and I had no problems with
reading and figuring them out. My problems came when I had to alter the
plans due to the space I had to work with inside my pool area.
Some of the changes I made were the roof is made with 3" cypress wood
but my nailers are 2" solid bamboo which has the integrity of steel.
I thought it would add a different look. I used a bamboo
peeled mat for the bar top.
The roof is elephant grass with a locking net over it. The
dimensions of the bar is 6 foot front, 4 foot left side and 3 foot right
side so I had room to get in on the right and the left is against the
wall. The height of the roof had to be cut down to 2 feet high
instead of your 4 feet and the 6" cypress poles had 5" cut off. I
still have plenty of head room. I just couldn't get it under the
screen roof unless I did that. I have the two cabinets and ran 3
electrical outlets and lighting in the roof.
Overall I'm very satisfied and I've had numerous people ask me where I
bought it from so I gave them your web address. I know 4 people
who are getting it for sure.
